Yes, I’ve encountered the same issue. The fact that the card activates instantly on a standard Android device confirms that the account is fine. As you mentioned, this seems to be an app-side restriction, likely tied to Play Integrity / device attestation checks. Since GrapheneOS intentionally doesn’t fully support these checks for privacy and security reasons, some apps like Sam’s Club may fail to recognize the device as “verified,” which triggers the “we hit a snag” error.
Until the app provides support for alternative attestation methods or GrapheneOS updates a compatible solution, using a standard Android device seems to be the only reliable way to activate the card.
