New user. I don't know whether this is hardware or Graphene's end, but I'm finding that typing fast is impossible on this device because taps in quick succession are being interpreted as swipes, and will usually end up selecting the letter in the middle of the two that I pressed even if the letters are on opposite ends of the keyboard. This happens with both the stock keyboard and anysoft. I thought it might be the screen protector but I since removed it and tried both the increased and regular touch sensitivity settings to no affect.

I'm trying to discern whether this is a common or fixable problem or whether I need to resell the thing and try another device.

For what it's worth, I've had issues with the swipiness of the Pixel phones. Coming from P20/P30 Pros, I find the Pixel's touch response is a bit jumpy and unpredictable at times. I have used multiple Pixel 7s and they all perform the same. I can only hope it's a software issue and will eventually be optimized.
