I just cannot stand the large Pixels 7, 8 and 9 and tried for 4 months with 8! So I decided to go back to Pixel 5.
I know, I know... no more security updates but... what are the risk increase nonetheless. Let me know if any of my assumptions are wrong:
1) I am not a person "of interest" by the soup letter agencies (although maybe one or two may consider that at first).
2) The Pixel 5 should be relative secure for a couple of years since serious vulnerabilities take around 2 to popup
3) If a highly serious vulnerability comes along, Google is likely to address it for any phone post 2020 still
4) I don't use any banking or money related app or even the browser for that. Just social media but yes home security cameras.
Am I risking too much or should be fine 2 more years of Pixel 5 for my case?
By the way, what happens once GrapheneOS stops giving updates to unsupported phones? Will we get error messages from GrapheneOS or just non responses so no pop-us and the like??
