Hi,
I've recently changed my GOS setup to have all my app installations happen on the Owner profile, and then push them to my Everyday profile through the install on other profiles function.
I did this because I've been reading that it is strongly recommended to install most of your apps through the Google Playstore rather than Aurora Store due to security vulnerabilities.
I've got also got a lot of my apps in Obtainium, tracking and installing apps. Would it be better to favour the Playstore where applicable and install apps like ProtonMail and ProtonVPN through there, or through the Github page using Obtainium?
From what I understand, it would be more secure via the Playstore, and the added benefit is that updates roll out faster/earlier than Obtainium (at least in my experience).
And for FOSS apps that aren't on the playstore, I'll continue using Obtainium.
Thanks!
