Hi, everyone.

I'm new to GrapheneOS and planning to purchase a Pixel 9 Pro to install GOS on it. I’m currently a Google Fi user, and Google Fi offers discounts on devices as long as they are activated with Google Fi and used for more than 120 days.

I’m not heavily into privacy, but my main reason for switching to GOS is for its security features. My question is: If I purchase a Pixel 9 Pro from Google, wipe it to install GrapheneOS, then activate my Google Fi line on it and use it for more than 120 days, will I still qualify for the Google Fi discount?

I tried searching for an answer but couldn’t find anything clear—maybe I didn’t search the right way. Apologies if this has been asked before. I would greatly appreciate any advice or experiences you could share. Thanks in advance!

RawTextData got some up to date TOS? I bet it is somewhere in there.

RawTextData , then activate my Google Fi line on it and use it for more than 120 days, will I still qualify for the Google Fi discount?

depends how the activation works I guess - but as far I see you can basically get any device and register it: https://support.google.com/fi/answer/6224695 - if I see it correct Google Fi is just an eSIM in connection to an app. So it should be fine(?)

_The crux might be if the discount-deal is connected to a purchase of a specific phone via google - than it might work similar to SIM-Lock _
