Hi everyone, I've installed GOS on a Pixel 9 Pro and created a profile for Google Gemini.

I've installed the Play Store and the Play Services, as well as Google, Assistant, AICore and a few other GApps (Google keyboard, Gmail, Drive, Google One).

However when sending a message to Gemini, I get an error: "Something went wrong, please try again".

If I access Gemini from the browser, everything works.

I've tried enabling all available permissions on all Google apps, and even enabled the compatibility mode, but the error persists.

It worked in the stock ROM since I have the Gemini Advanced subscription.

Please advise how to proceed, thanks a lot.

Still having the same issue after numerous retries.

@Tryptamine I read your great guide about Gemini but even with that I couldn't make it work. Do you see any issues with my process?
Did you manage to get it working in a non-owner profile?
Thanks.

I can't offer any solution but, it was working for me recently, now I having the same issue as you.

I know it stopped working before the last GrapheneOS update so It's not related to that.

deofol thanks for confirming, I can also rule out a problem with the latest OS upgrade since it wasn't working before either.

Please, let me know if you figure this one out!

Switching to another Google account in the Gemini app fixed it for me. Maybe contact Google support if you got the advanced and can't use it.

soupslurpr it doesn't seem to be an account issue for me. Gemini with my account works just fine on the stock OS and on the website.
Switching account didn't do the trick either.

On my Pixel 7 the Gamini App works, i just installed the google app and logged into my google account in gemini and enabled network on the google app.
