Hello to all,
I'm brand new to GrapheneOS since yesterday and a complete beginner in this regard.
Through YouTube channels such as "Side of Burritos" I already got a first impression of the operating system - many thanks at this point.

However, I still have a few questions after the setup, maybe you can help me (would be very happy):

  1. should I enable the item "Enable native code debugging"? So far I have disabled this and have not encountered any problems.

  2. in all installed apps I have disabled the option " Exploit protection compatibility mode" , is this the best option or should it be enabled?

  3. for my apps I use the app store "Aurora Store" and here I have enabled "Storage Scopes" as storage permission.
    But how exactly does this permission work?
    If I click on "Storage Scopes" in the app menu, another menu opens with the items "Add Folder, Add File, Add Image"...do I have to do anything here or does it work by itself?
    In the app itself there were no error messages and I have not made any other settings.

Sorry in advance for possible errors, English is unfortunately not my native language and therefore I can still make mistakes in this regard.

    You can leave it on so apps don't break.

    only turn on the compatibility mode if an app is crashing all the time. This might fix the app.

    Just turning it on makes the app think it has access to all of the file storage, but it doesn't really have access. The app can only see files it creates, nothing else. If you want an app to have access to other files, add them by adding the folder or specific files. An example would be a photo gallery app. The camera creates the files, so it has access, but the gallery app doesn't have access to the photos.
