Hi guys!
It's probably not the best place to ask but maybe some of you have helpful ideas.

I just created a new Reddit account and happened to successfully post in a subreddit and also write some comments. I also got a coupe of upvotes! So far so good.

After a day I realized I can't post in the subreddits I'd like to because of some errors like "server error" or "post removed by Reddit's filters". So I looked up some subs that are supposed to be "new account friendly" cause of "karma points"? whatever that is but I get the same errors. Then I tried to post on the sub I already successfully posted on and got the same errors!!

I can't post anywhere anymore not even on the sub I initially posted xD I can't even message specific mods I'd like to? What is this place? Then I filled out a form "contact the mods" but who knows if this even went through...

Why is this happening? And how do I fix that? How's a new user supposed to post anything anywhere if they they constantly get the "Removed by Reddit's filters" error message? Like anyone I'm trying to contact isn't getting my message.

Moreover what is this "karma" requirement? I have a question which I want to post in a specific sub but I can't do so cause my "karma" stats aren't high enough? So am I supposed to farm those XP points in other irrelevant subs for days to be able to post somewhere I actually want to? What is going on there? 😂😂

To be fair I suspect the following reason for "not being able to post":

I have a VPN I'm in incognito mode Vanadium I have an adblocker and they're getting mad they can't collect as much data on me?
First post went through and comments also but after a day I'm kind of "banned" everywhere? How is one supposed to make an account without violating too much privacy? I'd be fine dropping everything except my VPN. But asking someone to use their real IP is too much...

TL;DR How to create a fairly anonymous Reddit account without it getting somehow "banned"? I don't even know if I'm banned...

[deleted] Sounds like their spam filter might have flagged you. It could be your account, the IP address you're using with your VPN, maybe you signed up with an email alias instead of a real email, using incognito mode, etc.

It's hard to say what thing or things are causing them to treat your account as suspicious. Guess all you can do is make a new one and try again?

      other8026 Thanks for replying!
I used a "real" email. But yeah guess its about the VPN incognito mode and other tracking blockers.

Whatever that might be is there a "tutorial" on how to set up a Reddit account fairly privacy friendly without getting nuked instantly?
Does anyone of you have ideas?
I know it can be certainly done by downloading the google chrome browser and just going at it without a VPN or anything else but that's not what I'd like to do to be very honest 👀
