When entering the PIN after reboot or to unlock, I get it wrong quite often, because digits are recorded twice.
Are other users experiencing this as well?
And could something be done to give the PIN entry a tad more debounce? I guess that wouldn't do much harm, security wise.

Device: Pixel 7a

Stephan-P I'm not aware that any other users are experiencing this, and haven't seen anything similar reported in the issue tracker, so it could well be a specific issue with your device.

    Could you tell us:

    • Are you using a screen protector?
    • Do you experience this issue elsewhere or only on the login screen?
    • Is your OS up to date with the latest release? You can check in Settings > About phone > Build number to see which release you are on and cross check it with: https://grapheneos.org/releases#lynx-stable

      P7a, GOS 2024080200 and before
I am experiencing this when entering the sim unlock pin, as well as entering the OS unlock key. (So it should be unrelated to my keyboard app Hel8b9ard)

Oh, and yes I do use a screenprotector with increased screen sensitivity enabled

I think it's screenprotector. Mostly glass protectors

        Stephan-P Thanks for reporting back.

Have you tried testing the unlock screen with increased screen sensitivity switched off?

I had the increased touch screen sensitivity enabled to ensure that fingerprint reading doesn't get deteriorated.
I switched it off now and will report back after a day.

treequell okay, this seems to work: enhanced touch screen sensitivity disabled

          • no more double PIN digits
          • fingerprints still recognized
