CrazyDiamond Hello, I just sent my Pixel 7 to warranty after the touchscreen broke, and I wondered if some of you had experience with sending their Pixel with GrapheneOS installed to Google's warranty, as I don't really know what to expect.
other8026 CrazyDiamond I've never heard of anyone running into problems when they send in a device with GrapheneOS installed. Installing an alternate OS won't void your warranty.
twitheatrophonic CrazyDiamond i just had my screen fixed a week ago. There was no issue. I had graphene os installed. They format everything and installed stock os. I had to install graphene os again. That's it. Apart from it no problem
CrazyDiamond twitheatrophonic ok I'll see how it works out, I was worried because the screen is currently locked on the installation page of graphene because of the factory reset
Skyway Ammako I believe their reasoning is so they can run the screen calibration tool. But I ran the tool with grapheneos installed after a screen replacement , took a few tries .
