Started a new job and they require us to use Microsoft Authenticator.
I created a separate "Work" profile, installed Google play services, enabled ALL the notifications needed, installed MS Authenticator and after fighting for a while about enrolling a work account and missing notifications, I was able to get my work account added.
Now when I try signing in $somewhere, I'm prompted to put in a number into my Authenticator to approve sign-in. However I never get a notification to approve.
Manually opening the app does not prompt this notification.
And even "Check for notifications" within MS Authenticator, yields "No notifications found"
(And of note, my organization does not allow the 6 number input as a fallback, it HAS to be through the notification approval)
Under "Apps", with MS Authenticator I have received 0 notifications EVER, despite it having full notification permissions.
Anyone dealt with this kind of problem before? I'd really hate to have to carry a separate device JUST for use as an authenticator.
Of note: I am not signed in to the Google play store
MS Authenticator was installed under the Aurora store
I can provide screenshots of the behavior and anything else to those that are kind enough to try to help
Thank you <3
