GPS Location Not working on Google Pixel 4a

Hello, so on the google pixel 4a i cannot get any gps app (magic earth, google maps) to determine my location. I tried everything suggested online i could find and have had no luck. Is it just a matter of the device being close to EOL ?

are you supposed to do both those things at the same time, everytime you want to use maps? there is no sim card in the phone if that helps...

Not as far as I'm aware. But until it's clear what's going on, running some experiments may be helpful, and running GPSTest outside with a good view of the sky is probably the best case for getting a GPS lock (and for detecting some possible reasons for not getting a lock).

Not as far as I'm aware.

What you choose to do is up to you. I have recommended an experiment that you can try, or not try.

I had the same issue yesterday after installing the latest version.
Maps, weather app, browser, none of them got a location despite activated WiFi search.
Flashed stock ROM back, same place, location search is working.
Too bad, I'll have to continue using the phone without security updates.
