Rasta9 Dan-cer grayjay.app, the Futo F-Droid repository, or the play store. Although the Play store version is slightly different to the other ones.
Dan-cer Rasta9 thank you! Meanwhile I downloaded it from their website with the advantage of having all plugins needed.
brightjob4495 Rasta9 the f-droid repository is quite outdated. The last update of grayjay there was 6 weeks ago and is several versions behind. The only reliable way I have found for keeping Grayjay up to date is by using the self-updating APK from grayjay.app. I'd prefer if I could use Obtainium or F-droid so that the updates happen in the background and not when I open the app with the intent of using the app.
Rasta9 Marcus I didn't say it was a bad license, just not technically FOSS. Personally I support the source available model as developers should have more ways to monetize their software and make a living.
Murcielago Dumdum I can confirm the problem. Installed version 0.27.1. The feed is loaded but individual videos can't be played. Instead, a window pops up saying “An error has occurred, see the notification.” The error message then refers to a “network error”.
Rasta9 unhappy yeah, youtube messed with the API again yesterday, nothing but invidious and grayjay seem to be working right now.
lovefromisrael from my experience, even when a youtube video is played it is sometimes stopping after a short time..
