I feel like I'm pretty much outta options... GOS to Pixel 6

I purchased a brand new pixel 6 (unlocked). I've tried to install GOS using Ubuntu (brave) and Windows (Edge)
I purchased a used pixel 4 and was able to install GOS via Ubuntu (web installer through brave) no problem
I tried to install GOS to the pixel 6 via the pixel 4 (running GOS) through Vanadium
Using Ubuntu and Windows I always get some kind of error once the process reaches the fastbootd
The farthest I've been able to get is using GOS on the pixel 4 to the pixel 6, however the browser always crashes toward the end of the process with an "aw snap" message

Not really interested in using the pixel 4 as the daily driver. Per title, I feel like I've exhausted all my options with this pixel 6. Only other thing I can think of is to return the current pixel 6 I have and purchase a used one to see if that works. Really don't want to do that.

Any other ideas would be greatly appreciated.

A couple of possibilities or ideas...

Try again, when I installed the first time it had an error, the second try worked
As you mentioned "swap" your current 6 for a new 6 (see #3 though)
Bestbuy has a pretty sweet deal going on right now, for the 7s, your trade in and the $200 gift card would make the "upgrade" free or nearly free
There are some other discussions, if you use the search, about fastboot issues, one of them suggested reaching out on the matrix channel for quick(er) support

I had the exact same issue with my 6a last week. I had previously installed gos on multiple 4a phones with no issue using brave or chrome on my Linux laptop.
The 6a kept getting an error when trying to flash gos after unlocking the boot loader.
I borrowed a MacBook and installed it using chrome and it worked first time without a hitch.
There is clearly something that the web installer on Linux or Windows isn't liking with the 6 series phones.

This was resolved by them using a USB-A to USB-C cable with their computer instead of USB-C to USB-C. The issue there was a hardware/firmware/software issue with USB-C. The issue flashing from the Pixel 4 was running out of memory, which is likely tied to fastboot.js zip library updates combined with the Pixel 6 and Pixel 7 having higher memory requirements for flashing.
