Please find a way to make Ethernet use easy & reliable for connecting to the internet on grapheneos. WiFi is a constant security threat & a royal pain to set up & maintain in a manner that keeps it secure. I'm not a network newbie, but I'm not a Linux pro, either. People say "just put a VPN on your router". Okay, if those same people want to write comprehensible, easy to follow instructions,....Please do. I started my graphene journey because a privacy YouTuber said she can go online with Ethernet internet on the Pixel. Please let that stay true.

That should work. If you have tried without success, can you describe exactly what was tried (e.g., which adaptor, also which router) and what happened?

Note that connecting any two things requires the two things to cooperate, so if one particular router doesn't work it might need adjustment.

      TP Link Omada router
6' cat 6 Ethernet cable - Best Buy brand
Anker brand Ethernet to USBC adaptor

EthernetPlease connection goes in & out

Is it possible to provide more detail, such as any error messages? How long does the connection work / not work?

Have you tried a different Ethernet port on the router?

Is the router firmware up to date?

What happens if some other device, such as a laptop, uses the same Ethernet adaptor and cable?

I resolved it by giving making sure that the main admin profile was on the ethernet first, then swithing to the User 2 profile and setting the same internet settings.

Now, my new problem is that the second profile won't latch on to wifi. Ethernet works just fine.
