Would you recommend to use pixel 7 with experimental release?

I currently have a pixel 6 with GOS and wait for GOS to be released on pixel 7. I've already flashed the experimental, and even tho i dont do much with it yet, i dont see any critical bug. So i'm thinking to make it my daily driver. Would recommend to do so or to wait for stable?

I read there are still some issues that need ironing out. Not sure of the status of everything. Regardless, the build isn't considered stable by the devs yet, otherwise it would be released under the stable channel.

Ultimately it's up to you of course, but I'd avoid using it if random oddities or things just not working correctly will mess up your work or daily life.

I've been running GrapheneOS on my Pixel 7 Pro for 2 days now. Haven't ran into any issues related to GrapheneOS yet. Google Play Services installed and all apps work fine, even the GCam app.

The only issue I have is Android 13 related. I can't use my VPN with Block connections without VPN on while on a mobile network. Sometimes it just doesn't work with my VPN on even with that VPN option turned off. It works fine on WiFi. It is a known upstream issue.

unwat yeah i know. It's considered as a pre-alpha. That's why i was asking. But i'll wait a few more dans/weeks i think for a more stable release

unwat Hi. I installed GOS hours after release on my shiny new Pixel 7.
The only issues I had were with the camera, which have been fixed since.

I'm having no issue at all since install on Tuesday.

Note that I have a light use of my phone, I only have 16 apps in addition to the OOTB ones.

I don't think you'll have to wait for long!

I read about the camera one, but didn't know they fixed it already. Another one is about 64 bit Vanadium, which could affect many apps. I'm not sure of their progress or if they fixed it already or not.

mister_jay I too installed GOS on my Pixel 7 Pro within hours of finding out that it was available. Couldn't be happier.

unwat let's hope so! I just saw calyx released their beta. Son it seems the work for 7 series is not so big.
Anyway, we'll as long as needed!
