My Pixel 8 turned off suddenly while in use and won't turn on again. A usb-c amp meter shows around 0.07 amps being used for a few seconds before going down to 0. Looks like the charge chip or some other component got fried. Can anyone recommend any shop that does board repair and has a mail-in service? I'd like to be able to have my phone fixed without losing my data.

I've asked around in a few other places and have gotten no recommendations. Is the pixel 8 charge chip serialized or something?

grumpbot I've asked around in a few other places and have gotten no recommendations.

More suggestions might be forthcoming if the question were scoped to a particular country.

de0u mail-in service would circumvent this, no? US in general.

If I lived in Argentina and somebody in Mongolia were asking about mail-in service options, I might not answer. International shipping can be expensive.
