Will face unlock be an option with GrapheneOS?

As pixel 7 series support face unlock, i'm wondering if this will be an option with stable graphene os on these phones, or if this is considered as a security weakness and therefore will not be supported.

Following. No was can I live without face unlock on the P7 with its terrible fingerprint scanner. Honestly a deal breaker for me. I'm so dissapointed Google have gotten rid of the rear fingerprint scanner for something that just doesn't work.

Unlikely. In the past certainly, the face unlock components has been closed source junk part of gservices.

abcZ I didnt know that. If this is true we'll most likely not have face unlock with GOS

Are you using incognito mode on Chrome by chance? If so, please switch out of incognito mode.
How much storage space do you have free on your hard drive currently? You need at least 32GB of free storage. Do you have at least that amount of free space?

Either way, you will need to reboot to bootloader, refresh web installer page or restart your PC and start over. Make sure you only have instance of the web installer open.

It'll just take some adjustment for me. I've been on CalyxOS for the past year on my Pixel2XL but just upgraded to the P7.

I found CalyxOS to be nice and usable, but I want to use Graphine so I'll just need to accept the trade off's I guess

MY pixel 6's fingerprint scanner sure isnt as fast as my old side-mounted one but after a week you don't think about it anymore. A pro is that the underscreen scanners seem to work even when your finger is wet while the rear/side mounted ones just refuse then

I'll just repeat what I read a dev say on Matrix: if it's included in AOSP, it'll be included in GrapheneOS. Guess we have no other option but to see if Google includes it or not.

Face unlock on 7th gen Pixels is not included in GrapheneOS because it's not a secure implementation due to missing hardware to make it secure. 4th gen Pixels did it right, but there is a big added cost to adding all the necessary hardware.
