I'm getting either IP configuration failure when trying to connect to my home wifi, or it just says "obtaining ip address" and does nothing.
I've done every single fix I could find and restarted everything multiple times. As far as I can tell, it is just completely and suddenly bricked. Is there anything else I can try?

Okay. I got it to connect to my router with a static IP. But now it says I have no internet access. Even though I'm typing this from my computer, which is connected via ethernet to the same router? WTF?

soggyonigiri On your GrapheneOS device, try configuring the entry for your home Wi-Fi network to "Use per-network randomized MAC", then power the device off, then power your Wi-Fi router off, then throw them both in the nearest river. Just kidding! Leave them both powered off for a minute, then power the Wi-Fi router on, then power your GrapheneOS device on. Does that help?

NOPE. Tried it twice again with both static IP and DHCP (per network both times) and it doesn't do anything.

soggyonigiri Instead of "Use per-network randomized MAC" you can try "Use device MAC".
I had to do that with my UBNT AP + Mikrotik router combo. You do not need to hide the MAC on your own home router.

boldsuck Nope, nothing. static IP connects to the router but doesn't have an internet connection. DHCP gives either IP configuration failure or just gets stuck obtaining IP address. Just the same thing no matter what.

soggyonigiri Have you possibly changed the DNS settings on your phone?
            Private DNS
Otherwise you can delete your mobile phone entries in the router interface, look for 'DHCP Leases' and 'ARP'.

soggyonigiri Static IP is not particularly likely to be helpful.

What kind of access point is in use? What kind of router? Are they the same device?

What happens if you take the GrapheneOS device to an entirely different Wi-Fi network?

boldsuck I didn't change anything, it just stopped working yesterday or the day before.

de0u It's just the standard router your ISP gives you. And I don't know because I'm rural and I don't feel like driving into town to search for something to connect to.

                  Maybe it's not working right.

Though inconvenient, that might turn out to be an important debugging step. If you have one Wi-Fi router and one Wi-Fi client device, and they aren't getting along, it can be hard to figure out what is going wrong.

Yes, then GW and DNS must also be set.
                  Stick with DHCP

Do you have VPN or Orbot running in any profile? Go to Settings App and 'Force Stop' them.
