Bluetooth Audio over Moondrop Space Travel Cuts Out

I have a pair of Moondrop Space Travel wireless bluetooth earbuds that I use with my Pixel 8a. These earbuds frequently "cut out" where all sound from the phone to the buds is halted. Media on the phone continues playing during these cut-outs.

Cut-outs last a few seconds at most and then sound returns to the earbuds. When sound is "resumed", the audio is garbled for half a second and it sounds like it's playing the "delayed" audio really fast to catch back up.

I've tried a bunch of different suggestions, including disabling bluetooth A2DP hardware offload, disabling HD audio, and a few other suggestions from the Pixel subreddit.

These earbuds work fine with my other devices.

Any thoughts?

EngineerOfStuff If this problem is worse on 8a than on other devices, the best thing to do may be waiting to see if the early-June release, which may catch the 8a up with the rest of Pixel devices, helps.
