**Correction to title: should say "already UNlocked"
Hello, I have been an iOS user for the past four or so years, and I am pretty out of the loop with current android devices. I just got a pixel 6a in the mail, but upon boot it said that the boot loader was already unlocked. I realize the security issues related to this, so before going any further I've been trying to wipe the device clean. I used google's android flash tool to reflash to the current public version of android, and relocked the boot loader to be safe for now. I believe everything is wiped clean and back to factory its' state.
With all of that done, when I boot the phone now, I no longer get any message stating that the boot loader is unlocked, it goes straight to the google logo and boots.
Besides all of this though, is there anything else I need to do in order to make sure the device is secure? Someone else I saw in a thread on another site was talking about rootkits and stuff- I want to be certain nothing like this is on the system as I am considering making it my daily driver.
