I know the device isn't supported because its inherently insecure, but I really can't afford a new (used) phone. Unfortunately apps I'm required to use for work recently stopped working.
The app requires Bluetooth permissions but it doesn't seem to promo the OS to give it permission for that. When I go to Settings>Apps>AppName>Permissions it shows NFC (also required) under Allowed, and Sensors (not required by the app to function) under Not Allowed.
When I click the three dots all I get is Show All Permissions. This just shows all possible permissions. When I select Bluetooth (or any permission) it brings up a modal that describes what the permission does with an Okay button. Clicking the button closes the modal.
Is there any way to manually add Bluetooth permissions for the app?
Any help is greatly appreciated.
