I just acquired a Penoval USI 2.0 stylus, and my tablet has a dead zone that is about 2 inches wide, from side to side when (in landscape mode).

This does not occur when writing/drawing with my finger.

Is there some setting that is causing this malfunction?

    thedarkula you can try turning on Settings > Display > Increase touch sensitivity. Other than that, I can't think of anything.

      other8026 Thank you for your response!

      I did try switching that on, but it still has a huge gap horizontally.

      Have you or anyone else tried a stylus with the Pixel Tablet running GrapheneOS?
      I have seen videos of people using one with the tablet running vanilla android, and all functioned properly.

        Just got my tablet - currently having the exact same problem. Did you find a fix?

        Hi. I was wondering if anyone had found the solution to this as I have the same problem. I saw that someone mentioned on another site that it had been fixed in AOSP earlier this year but have no idea whether that actually helps me in GOS.

        Bump. Just case anyone does know of a solution to this.

          qroduco Bump.

          Two things that might be more productive:

          • As treequell suggested, try the Pixel Tablet forum; if that has been tried without success, stating that here would likely be more productive than stating "Bump";
          • If "another web site" has information suggesting a software fix, posting a link to that information would likely be more productive than posting "Bump".

          Just a quick update in case anyone else has this issue. After a bit of trial and error I eliminated the stylus and grapheneos as the cause of the issue and it turned out to be an issue with the tablet in my case. Google replaced it under warranty with very few questions so I guess this may be a common problem. I have reflashed grapheneos and everything works fine.

            qroduco Thanks for reporting back!
