How to install the Tesla app?

An old reddit post says that the app does not need Google play services, but it won't install at all on my phone. Just sits at 0% and says Esimating Calculating. Anyone have any experience with that?

jdsmofo are you using Aurora store? I've had this problem with other apps from there.

jdsmofo Sitting at 0% sounds like a network or app store (assuming Aurora) issue.

If you are using the Aurora store try to log out, clear the cache and then login again

Yeah, I am using Aurora. I logged out, cleared the cache, logged back in anonymously, but still the same thing. Also got the hang with just wifi, or just cellular data. If I try to download the apk, there is no version available.
My tablet doesn't have the problem.

I also tried reinstalling the Aurora store app. If I could get it to just download the apk on the tablet, then send it to the phone, that would work. But it sounds like I need to solve some more fundamental problem on the phone.

Hmm. Rebooted. Deleted app. Reinstalled from Neostore. This time it asked me permission questions, and more, and that seems to have done the trick. Thanks for the feedback @other8026 and @RRZishe ---that helped.
