New GrapheneOS user

I have just installed GrapheneOS on my Pixel 6 and very please with the ease of moving from native Google. I am still using the Google store as I want to use Android Auto.
I am currently having a problem using RingGo (a UK parking app) It keeps complaining that I need to download the latest version for security reason but I am using the latest version straight from the play store. Can anyone help please?

Have you fiddled with the Exploit protection settings under App info? Sometimes an app can experience issues when those settings. Especially when Exploit protection compatibility mode is disabled.

Thanks for your suggestion. I did not changed any app settings but have tried enabling and disabling Exploit protection but still unable to login.

Did you ever get a solution for this? I'm trying to sign up to RingGo and encounter a non-descript error on the SMS Verification Code page.

I've reached out to their support team in the hope to get this resolved.

Things I've tried so far: disabling exploit protection & installing from both Aurora & Google Play.

Suspect this is a Play Integrity API issue...

There's a current GrapheneOS regression with Play Integrity. So if that's the problem and RingGo only needs Basic Integrity there could be a fix coming fairly soon (but not GrapeneOS 2025090200).

Update. I found that if I register on the web first (https://myringgo.co.uk/register) then I can login on the android app (installed from Play Store) and things work. FYI I'm running GrapheneOS 2025081400, i.e. latest Stable.
