In new USB-C security settings, there is a mode titled "charging-only when locked, except before first unlock". Does this mean that before first unlock the phone will be able to transfer data? Won't an attacker simply reboot my phone then and set up a data transfer connection? And isn't data transfer disallowed before the first unlock anyway?
I don't understand what the point of this mode is and how it's different from the regular "charging-only when locked" mode from a user's POV.
