I have been having suspicions about my pixel 6 being spied on in some way or other...either through my router or my phone I cannot prove either at the minute however I do use a VPN Proton.
However at some stage my phone had been connected to another phone through WiFi direct cannot say when...but it certainly was no me because I have never used this function or knew little about it.
While searching my phone for the umpteenth time yesterday I noticed that under Security - Encryption & Credentials - Clear Credentials was in white as opposed to greyed out....I am assuming it only goes white when some form of cert had been installed as when I cleared credentials it no longer became an option.
However before I cleared there was no visible certificate in the folder.
This is a very broad question but could somebody maybe try to understand what I have just summarised and give me some feedback.
Also the password I use is extremely long so its unlikely they got in through that...but is it possible to connect via WiFi Direct without me accepting it and load some sort of malware onto my phone.
Thanks
