trilogy6202 Have the battery drain been like this since you got the phone or did the problem arise after you installed GOS on the phone or something else?
If the battery drains this fast on stock android I would say that it's probably a hardware issue.
I never used stock Android, as I bought the device specifically for GrapheneOS.
matchboxbananasynergy From what I've gathered, you don't use Play Services (therefore no FCM for push notifications) and run 3 distinct messengers (Molly, Whatsapp, Element). Since you don't have play services, I presume you're using their own notification methods which are incredibly costly battery-wise, let alone when you're running 3 of those. Unfortunately the AOSP battery screen is hot garbage, which is why you're not seeing those apps as taking up most of your battery. I am pretty confident that's the reason for your battery drain.
That's what I was thinking too, that the battery use is shown incorrectly in the settings app. I will have to investigate this.
trilogy6202 battery drain from apps with push notifications on profiles without GPS but for me it's only on mobile network. I have high battery drain from signal when I'm on mobile network but when I'm mainly on Wi-Fi my battery lasts for 2-3 days with at least 2 hours of screen time per day.
I have noticed that on Wifi it's slightly better although still not that great. But overall it sounds like a mix of bad hardware (Pixel modem) and unoptimised app use (in my case several messengers polling in the background)
