Blastoidea it works but in certain situations like check the background apps and try to kill some or select another it froze and I need to turn off/on the screen "to fix it" at least the last 5 releases has this issue, other users experienced the same

Pixel 8 user here, cannot update trough OTA to this update it just downloads and then redownloads again, secondly after flashing this update (clean install) Vandium dosen't let me visit any websites some websites work but most do not load at all such as github,, duckduckgo, startpage and so on. Not sure what''s wrong since wifi is working as it should otherwise...

temp Did the phone install the update and you haven't restarted yet to complete the update? I'd first try restarting to see if that's the case. It's possible the notification was accidentally dismissed.

As for the browsing issue, what is the error that you're seeing in Vanadium?

Do you have unmodified GrapheneOS? Updates won't work correctly if you've modified the OS.

other8026 No it dosen’t ask for restart nor does it update it even when restarting manually it will attempt to download and install the same update again but never does I see some other people having this issue on github, pixel 8 users also for this reason i flashed it instead the OTA update and Vandium just gives error can not find ip adress to website while the same websites works perfectly on other devices with same wifi.

Are you using a VPN, private DNS, or any content blocker of any kind? Trying to download with Tor/Orbot running might also cause issues. If you are using any of those, try disabling them in the Owner profile and try opening a web page with Vanadium again. If the page loads, then try the updater again.

If that suggestion doesn't apply or doesn't work, then...

Yes, the discussion is here this post and based on what you're saying it sounds like it may be the same issue, but it's best to confirm with logs first. Can you get logs from the updater app, app.seamlessupdate.client to confirm you have the same error: onPayloadApplicationComplete: 20?

You can do that from the Owner profile in Settings > Apps > All apps > *show system in upper right-hand corner* > System updater > View logs.

Having some performance issues in this upfate. Nothing else was changed. No app updates. Not on low battert it fully charged. Only use secondary profile main empty. Restarted phone a few tiems.

All seem memory related. Is enwest version more aggresivr memory freeing?

Getting constant apps clearibg themselves from memory even if only 1 app is open. When open multitask switcher and tap them they relaunch from fresh not resume.

Gesture only multitask switcher keeps getting apps stuck in them when swipe up to dismiss them. They go up and away but a frozen copy is kept. If close multitask switcher and reoepn it's gone.

Neither ofnthede happened on latesr January version.

el_pelosss Same as above: are you using modified GrapheneOS? The user who reported this issue on our tracker turned out to be using modified GrapheneOS. The update was failing for them because their boot image was modified and the updated boot image could not be created from it with the delta update. Modifying the official GrapheneOS releases is not supported and is broken in multiple ways. If you want to make modifications, you need to build and sign your own releases. Trying to use our official updates with a modified OS isn't going to work. It will break the delta updates and the full updates will replace your changes.

GrapheneOS What does using a modified GrapheneOS mean? I was using Android 14 QPR 2 beta 3.1 and then flashed to what was the latest official release of GrapheneOS back then which was the release before the current latest one and then I got these issues with updating. No other changes. Anyways I've flashed the latest update and will let you know if the issue persists when the next update is released.
