Okay. So I have two MS surface laptops (Win 10 and Win 11), as well as a Pixel 6 running Graphene, and an unlocked Pixel 6a bough on Amazon.

I am wanting to install Graphene on the Pixel 6a.

Over the last 3 days, I have not been able to connect the Pixel 6a to either of my laptops. So today, I decided to go out and buy an Acer laptop, expressly for the purpose of installing Graphene. I had convinced myself this must be an issue with the MS surface hardware.

I updated the new Acer machine and connected it to the Pixel 6a. In Device Manager, Pixel 6a shows up under the Portable Devices heading.

I click it to update driver with the one I downloaded. But the system replies that "the best driver for this device is already installed". Great!

So with the Pixel 6a in dev mode, with OEM unlocked, and logged in with fastboot, on the Web Install page, when I click " Unlock bootloader" I get a "No compatible device found.".

And on an other tread, someone suggested I use my Pixel 6 with Graphene (instead of windowd machines) to install on the Pixel 6a.

But I get the same problem again: "No compatible device found."

I'm getting a bit discouraged here. It appears I can't get the Pixel 6a to connect to anything.

What can I do now?

Little question. When I reboot the Pixel 6a to boot into the bootloader interface, it says it's in fastboot mode. Shouod I be staying in fastboot and continue to boot up? Or should I select something else?

Can't really help you with this one, but if you need quick help during installation it might be worth joining the official GrapheneOS matrix/discord channel for fast and interactive help

PepeLapiu Shouod I be staying in fastboot and continue to boot up?

Stay in fastboot. It is unclear what you mean by "continue to boot up", but don't. Try running the installer while the phone is on the Fastboot screen.
