What could disrupt the WebUSB Install in Vanadium?

Hi everyone! 1 year later i experieced the same usb issue and i can confirm 100% that is a port/cable issue.
Cable was good but the port i used was the one on the hub station (actually a good one Cladigit TS5 plus).
Even if i successfully flashed graphene with that port i somehow was unlable to flash stock android on that same port (with the same cable). THe proble i had was the one u were talking about :

X43 In fastbootd (entered through recovery) device get's recognized, in fastboot (first screen) not.

i connected the cable direclty into the computer and the issue was gone .

Since the option to use WebUSB API was added (web installation method), the guide specifically mentions in the prerequisites:

You should avoid using a USB hub such as the front panel on a desktop computer case. Connect directly to a rear port on a desktop or the ports on a laptop. Many widely distributed USB cables and hubs are broken and are the most common source of issues for installing GrapheneOS.
