In a 2nd Profile I've set up, Private DNS and Ethernet Tethering are not allowed. I was also only able to transfer apps downloaded from my Owner Profile vs. downloading them directly to my secondary profile. Is this normal?

I've searched the forums and could not locate any Discussions about this topic, so please direct me if this question has already been asked and answered.

Thanks!

You can only tether from your main profile.

You need to enable app updates on secondary profiles before booting into them. Its a security feature for you to toggle on and off.

You can decide whether to download apps in your main profile and then sympathetically install them in any of your tertiary profiles, or you can enable updates and downloads in specific profiles.

You can also disable any apps you've installed in any of your profiles without uninstalling them. You decide what's best for you.

Great - thank you! I'll look for the settings to enable updates and downloads in my profiles.

Any insight on why Private DNS only works on my main, Owner profile?

axs Nope, never touched DNS settings. Did you find out? I'd like to know.

Toomanyuserprofiles so this "update" switch disables the Android package manager? Or could you still update apps by copying them to the profile? I only know of installing apps to it at the configuration.
