Second profile: uninstalled Google Fi, then reinstalled it.

There have been some OS updates since this issue started and I am not receiving SMS on second profile intermittently but still have to switch to main/admin profile in order to send sms or make calls.

I tried to toggle Google Fi for the second profile and had no luck. Tried a few times and did few reboots. Will keep looking for a solution...

Google Fi + GrapheneOS Annoyances

Wifi calling does not work for secondary profiles
SMS/MMS messages pull from the owner profile(?), so using an sms/mms app that encrypts messages on the device will not work.

I believe my intent way back then was to prevent auto updates and force having to manual updates. But of course disabling network disabled both of those. There is now feedback/notification when the manual update check fails or doesn't happen at all.

GOOD NEWS

Android Auto is now in App Store
Successfully installed Android Auto
Enabled wired and wireless and at least wired is working at the moment

DISCOVERY: I had network permission disabled for System Updater, so even though I have been manually checking for updates, nothing would happen. For months. LOL.

Downloading an update now and will report back.

I can't confirm GmsCompat is installed as I don't see it anywhere.

GrapheneOS App Store 24

I had issues with Android Auto months ago and in a futile attempt to solve issues, I uninstalled it. It has never shown up in the GOS App Store and I can't install it from another source.

I had assumed perhaps it was part of the GOS releases and just waited for an update that would include a new version of Android Auto. However, reading the threads here seems to indicate that it SHOULD be showing up as an installable app in GOS App Store.

Any idea how to get Android Auto back?
