  • Reboot normally solves this. My gal has a P7P, and she has the same issue where no updates are happening until she reboots the phone. Then it downloads and installs the latest update.

It's annoying, but rebooting the phone is a good thing to do anyway

  • DeletedUser216 What way of downgrade did you chose? Just download the zip and manually install it without the -w flag?

  • Google seriously fucked up the haptics man. I hate typing with my P8P now. Wtf. I hope this gets reverted soon. oh boi

    • rocktato All good here, but I did only really use it to download two apps that I couldn't get from the play store as normal.

    • What about the lockdown option in the powermenu? Isn't that doing what you want? Or does it not encrypt on enabling it?

      • Didn't know that was possible. Nice.

For me, the libre3 app crashes at start completelly. I'm also not so sure if it's a privacy secure app at all. I got myself one of those seperate small devices that you can connect to the freestyle libre, that way the GCM data is offline for sure

DeletedUser127 Sadly there are actual type1 people out there who's life is a lot simpler with GCMs. You're right with your statements, but still, a GCM is very good to have.

You can totally reverse type2, but I never saw anything good happen to type1 people on keto. Most had severe issues with dangerously low sugar levels

Also, as a keto guy myself, using a GCM from time to time is quite nice, as you can see how certain foods impact your glucose levels. My levels are mostly one straight line, and it's cool to see which foods disturb the glucose levels, so I can avoid them in the future

          • Yea what's so bad about the official version? I mean, the one from their websit not the google play one

            • feliik Yes, the Sicherung feature is using seedvault in the background, it is just named 'sicherung' or 'backup'

            • Tbh, I'm long past this. Fidesmo pay works wonderfully with watches, bracelets and rings. I have a cnick ring linked with my debitcard, easy. Don't even have to take out the phone to pay, and it's outsourced from the phone as well.

            • Justvan update here, I'm still pingpongingbwith revolut support. I think it's literally just AI I'm writing with. This company support is horrible.

I just want them to cancel my sub, I can't even do that anymore without logging in

            • twint. oh how I hate that service. I was wondering why it worked anyway. But many of my friends use it actively, but are logged into gplay indeed

              • Tomelena There are four buttons on that page. put your phone in fastboot, connect usb, press one button after the other finishes. Literally 3mins max. The rom download is probably the longest part :P
I have friends that are zero tech savvy and did it alone in just a few minutes. Even they say there is no reason not to use it if it protects you, and is that easy to install.

And yes, i do asume you're a troll when you don't care about privacy but are trying to question the reason to install a privacy and security focused OS. These are the only true reasons for this OS after all, so don't be wondering why there are 'no other selling points'

              • This just has to be a troll. Does not care about privacy, but still posts in a privacy focused forum for a OS.
The reasons to use this are simple: privacy and security. There isn't much more, what do you even want? You sound like you have zero idea what you even want yourself.

Instead of asking all those questions: flashing graphene or stock literally takes two or maybe three minutes. Just try it and go back if you don't like it.

                • Aaaah, i also use davx for sync to my nextcloud, this is why I have a birthday field. Makes sense then.

                • Huh, you absolutelly can add birthdays? I've added it for my close contacts, and they show up on my calendar as well

                  • DeletedUser87 Actually, this should automatically happen if you use something like parental control for this. But you're right, once the ip changes, the wrong device would be blocked. I guess it depends on your router quality
