Do i have to change any settings in the playstore or playservice app?

i am relatively new to grapheneos, have used /e/ for a long time and still use it on my tablet. i still use a landline. As the cordless dect phones are constantly running out of battery due to little use, I would like to switch completely to the fritz!App phone. Unfortunately, I can't seem to get the app to ring for incoming calls from the settings. I can make phone calls. in the settings I have allowed all permissions, switched off battery optimisation, switched off pause app behaviour when not in use and switched on exploit protection compatibiity mode. What else can I do? Thanks for help.
