  • In Aurora Store crash on Pixel 6a

    Hi Enrico, I installed Aurora store on same and newer releases as you mentioned, can share my steps:

    1. Installed the .apk via Vanadium from the Gitlab address: https://gitlab.com/auroraoss/aurorastore or used Obtainium with the same address.
    2. App asks to allow at least the Required permissions for the app at the first start (Welcome screen):
      a) Installer permission to install from unknown sources
      b) External Storage Manager: you can use Storage scopes and allow access only to Downloads folder or create subfolder there and allow access only there.
    • In Preferred SIM card for Voice calls not working in Secondary user profile

      I have set preferred SIM for Voice calls in Owner - Settings - Network and Internet - SIMs - Your primary SIMs.
      It works in Owner profile as expected and the chosen SIM is used for all calls initiated.
      The setting does not keep for Secondary profile (calls and sms are allowed in that profile), however Owner profile is the only place where it can be set so I assume the setting should be working in secondary profiles.
      The behavior is that it always asks to choose from both SIMs.
      I tested on 6a and 7a with same results.

      I switched to double sim setup just now and it was only couple of hours before I installed the latest release 2024123000. I did just one call in between. I think it worked before the latest release.. but I might be mistaken..
      It would be good to proof from somebody who use double sim setup longer..

      matchboxbananasynergy It would help if the label can be used also the way to "allow all contacts except label/ labels selected". It would allow me to select smaller groups of contacts to be excluded on device for concrete app.

      • In Turn mobile data on/off in secondary user

        Hello,
        it seems I have the same situation on my pixel 6a.
        I'm unable to switch on/off the mobile data in user profile. The data switch in Internet settings is missing, I see only Wifi switch.
        I'm able to switch on/off mobile data only from Owner profile.
        That user profile has the phone calls and sms turned on and is allowed to run in background.

        Have I missed any setting?
        How can I allow concrete user profile to switch the mobile data on/off?
