For some reason my phone won't show the names of people from my contacts when they call me. Just the caller ID phone number. I've checked permissions to ensure that phone had permission for contacts and it does and visa versa. I've looked at every setting I can think of for something that needs turned on but I've found nothing. Any clues would be greatly appreciated - getting tired of answering telemarketers calls!!

Thank you for your reply Probably9857. It helped me fix the problem.
When I first installed Ringcentral business phone app everything worked fine. Then a few weeks ago the app stopped ringing on incoming calls. Outgoing calls and everything else works fine. In the last few days the app started to ring on a just a couple of calls but the vast majority still won't ring. It's not a cell signal issue as most of the time I'm on wi-fi. I just noticed that I've gotten a notification that "Push notifications will be delayed because Play services not allowed to run in background" don't see how that could be problem as it didn't prevent phone from ringing when I first installed? Any thoughts/ideas would be greatly appreciated!
Thank you for the info!

I searched for answers first but came up blank. Just bought a Pixel 8 Pro - it's due here in a couple of days. Wanted to see if anyone already knows if a couple of apps I use in business and really need will work with GOS:
Clickup
Ringcentral
Zoho Work Drive
Lorex (security cameras)Any thoughts/info would be greatly appreciated!!
de0u Thanks for reply. Yes, there are bad actors of all sizes. However, in my opinion, the big players we are talking about are so wealthy they can sue governments. In fact, they have more annual revenue than many governments! Smaller companies might be able to defend themselves in court but doing so is going to hurt - at least a little. And yes, the really small online sellers I have seen selling on Amazon - WOW! There is some shady stuff going on. The question, once again, is whether Amazon is aware of it and just removes the ones that get caught/reported - which common sense would say this is probably the case. They are so large they can just say "oops - sorry" and people will continue to buy from them. So it is the centralized big player that enables these shady super small "companies" to do bad things. If they were a small local company they wouldn't be doing it - at least not for long.
Phead Thanks Phead for your reply! A big help. With regards to the Apple "security issue" I don't think what, how, where, when are the most important things to know. I think the big question is whether Apple knew about it and more importantly if they had a hand in it. And since there won't be a way to know the answer to that I always find it safe to assume the worst from the big players. So one might ask why I'm even asking these questions - this is where I often find myself when there isn't clearly a good solution. I think the Librem 5 offers the most privacy but there is the quality issue and mainly the issue of not being able to run the apps I need for business. So it appears, from what I've read, that GrapheneOS is the next best solution.
At least I don't think it is...... I see here in the forums many people wonder about why Pixel was choosen. And I learned a few things reading those threads. My big question is if Google builds their own chips now, couldn't they just build in a hardware or hardwareish solution to keep doing what they do without Google Play Services (et al)? It was just revealed a couple of weeks ago that Apple had a hardware backdoor. If they did do this is there anyway to tell? We have Wireshark for wi fi - is there such a solution for cell signal? I'm looking for a phone that offers privacy. I don't do illegal things but that doesn't mean that I want Google or anyone else knowing all of the legal things I do. I like GrapheneOS but even with their help I'm still not sure about using a Google platform. A little education from someone who knows might help a little. Thank you!
