Hello,
I've been reading articles from androidauthority & androidpolice saying that android 15 will make it harder to sideload apps - some apps might even force you to download google play if they use google's integrity API, which can be an issue.
I used to have a phone with GOS installed that had modded apps such as Instagram, YT & Twitter with tracking and ads removed (my threat model isn't hardcore, I just want my cake and eat it too i guess you could say), would this become a problem in the future with android 15 or is/would there a be a way to get around the integrity API with these kinds of modded apps? Im guessing FOSS apps wont be implementing this so I could just install them for their github using Obtanium or other alternatives, i'm just more thinking about proprietary apps that I want/need.
Would like some feedback from people as I'm not fully aware of this change + I know theres people a lot smarter than me on this forum :)
