  • MetropleX This sounds really good, I think you've convinced me tbh. Thanks for mentioning OSS alternatives to Duo and Google Authenticator, I don't like them and am not comfortable binding my life up with google and a random proprietary authenticator like that so it's good to know there are alternatives to look into.

    • I'm seriously considering it after receiving a very high recommendation from a friend who runs it on their Pixel part time, and seeing all the amazing security features, as well as just the idea of having a clean-slate Android setup that has what I want it to have and no more, nothing in the background sucking up data and resources and stuff. The issue is, I rely on my phone extremely heavily as a sort of backup if things go wrong with my computer, as well as for 2FA for everything (especially for my school, which requires 2FA like literally once every day through their special app, DuoMobile), so I can't afford my phone to be buggy, crashy, laggy, or otherwise unreliable. So I guess I have these questions:

      1. How stable and reliable is GraphineOS compared to Google's stock Android version?
      2. Does it support Google Fi and if so, how well?
      3. Can it run 2FA apps like Duo Mobile and Google Authenticator?
      4. Does Firefox (and by extension the Mozilla Lockwise password manager app) run well on it?
