Thanks for the reply matchboxbananasynergy. Changing the name of the all permissions list to something more clear or adding some text in the list to state what you have said sure would be helpful for everyone to understand what is going on here.

Are the permissions shown on the all permissions screen for the app just those possible and the ones on the app permissions screen the ones the app is actually allowed to use? Seems like this must be the case but I can't find any documentation or discussion about this. There is one thread started on Reddit that was shut down without an answer or redirect. VLC and every app I check seems to have contradictory permissions between these two lists.
On the App info screen under permissions the text shows no permissions granted. Click that and you're now on the app permissions screen. Here, no permissions allowed is shown under allowed permissions. For VLC, microphone, network, notifications, and sensors are shown under not allowed. Great. Now click the three dot menu in the top right and go to the all permission screen. The first permission in the list is microphone and just below that shows record audio. Click that and a message says "this app can record audio using the microphone while the app is in use." This is just an example app and permission.
I'm assuming you mean the total entries for all call history is 500. I'm trying to understand if the call history for a contact/number can be controlled or the limit could be increased in a future release of GrapheneOS. For example, if I go to call history and click on a call > Call details I see two calls made to that number on day X and day Y. When I look back just a couple entries in the main call history list I can see other calls to the same number just a few days prior but they were not in the call details list for call X.
Hello. When clicking a call in the call history and selecting Call Details a list of previous calls with that number/contact is displayed. What determines the length of this list? Not the number of entries necessarily but how many days or hours prior are reported in the list. I have not figured out what this length is but I don't see a way to set it. Samsung Galaxy phones appear to show ALL calls in the list. There may be some kind of limit but the list goes back months. Stock Motorola, stock Pixel, and GrapheneOS Pixel phones have a very limited list. I read that the list length is controlled by the phone app. Is there any chance of making this list longer or user selectable in the stock GrapheneOS phone app?

Does anyone know how to get the message waiting indicator working for voicemail? Is this possible with the pull design of GrapheneOS?

I've noticed a couple minor bugs in the "Default alarm sound" menu. The Cesium and Platinum sounds appear twice in the menu. Also, the Hassium/Helium and Neon/Nobelium sounds are the same. Has anyone else seen this or is my case a fluke?
