Chiming in to add my own problem.
I can get trough the entire setup up to the point where the watch app scans for updates. It will then tell me that there is an Update for the watch and to install it (there is no button to not install said update). When I want to start updating the watch app (on my Pixel 8 Pro) crashes with no change to the watch itself which tells me to continue on the phone. after reopening the App I am met with a "pairing unsuccesful, reset the watch and try again" message.
Does anyone have any help there? Thank you in advance!

I obviously do not want to rush or bother anybody working on this OS, it would however be nice to know how soon I can expect to use GrapheneOS on a Pixel 8 as my Pixel 6 is slowly giving up.
