    This topic can be closed. I solved the problem as follow:

    • hold the button as described above by treequell;
    • install graphene from a Mac - and it work perfectly the first time.

      Hi Everyone,
      Sorry to disturb you but i just bought a Pixel 6a and i really need help.
      I am running Pop!OS and tried to install graphene OS with Brave browser. I tried to install the web-user interface and nothing work as the process give me a message of failure related to USB and now i am blocked with the fastboot mode on the screen of my pixel, impossible to shutdown the phone. the volume key work but i cannot power off the device. And every time that i want to plug the phone, the browser do not recognize the phone and tell me that it is unknown device.
      If you can provide any help, that will be much appreciated.
