spiral The 13 pro has a 120hz screen while the 6a has 60. This might explain the missing "smoothness". The p6pro also provides 120hz

Before switching to GOS I tried to improve my privacy on a Motorola phone. Therefore I bought a NetGuard license in addition to using adb tools to disable bloatware, as it's been recommended by several online users. Now i switched to a P6P. After going through the lengthy process of installing apps and restricting their DNS calls I wonder if the effort is worth it for privacy. I've read in this forum that NetGuard is easily bypassable if desired. But I still feel like it's worth it for apps like Spotify where I can e.g. disable Facebook DNS calls. I've also one app which makes more than 15 DNS calls but requires only one to work as intended, which i sadly cant get rid of yet. FYI I only use my owner profile.
I appreciate any comment on this topic!abcZ That sounds superb. I envy you! I got my P6P on release date and I feel like I've may gotten a bit unlucky with the silicone lottery / Quality Control. I've read that phones produced in mid 2022 seem to deliver an overall better experience. May I have an insight when you've purchased your device/which manufacturing date it has?

While I share the charging pattern of @deign. I'd like to add that a smartphone is a tool... If you feel like you need all the capacity to get through a day then go for it. Same goes for your charging preferences. Replacement parts are available at Ifixit if needed.
I get around 6-7hrs SOT when discharging from 100% with 100% brightness on my P6P. Of course your milage may vary as it depends on several factors like cellular usage, app usage etc. But to be fair, I don't see myself getting 10hrs SOT and Apple is doing extremely well in that regard. I'd expect the 7th gen pixels to be better then the 6th gen as Tensor has been their first shot on a SoC with Samsung.
