As for AdBlocking experience, mine is better on Brave than on Vanadium. Since the V8 JIT engine can be disabled now on Brave I might transition again.. some day
Just manually tabed 'check for updates' and the update started downloading and installing.
So far correct behavior.
It's just that I have permitted network set to Unmetered and I am on mobile data right now since I'm at work.

I uninstalled the F-Droid Client the other day off my Pixel because of this article:

And just now off my girlfriends Pixel.
The apps where replaced with APKs directly from the dev.
No point, for me, in running GrapheneOS because of its enhanced security and then introducing a risk over F-Droid.
I didn't have many apps from them anyway (Mullvad and IVPN).
Only to avoid the PlayStore.
Just looking into Obtainium and Accrescenct and AppVeryfier.

If you don't probably Notification/Network/Sensors should be enough. Maby someone else will chime in too

So if anyone cares to show me how to see it. I'm curious.

I've had the case, on a side note, that I uninstalled GS, after that notifications where gone for proton mail.
I had to uninstall all apps that depend on GS, reinstall google play services and then reinstall all apps that depend to get it to work again :)
Probably9857 It does not need background data unrestricted but Battery Usage Unrestricted.
Also Google Play Services must be installed b e f o r e the apps that depend upon them are installed.
At least this works in my case :)

So far I have used Proton, Mullvad and IVPN. Since I did not want all eggs in one basket I downgraded from Proton Unlimited to Mail Plus and took IVPN and Mullvad for a test drive.
Since I can't get direct notifications with Mullvad when reconnecting after a good night sleep I decided to go back to IVPN for a while.
BTW I read the policy of my ISP, I'd suggest to do that :)

Like the title says:
For example I go to sleep and turn on flight mode, as to not be bothered, when I awake there are no (!) notifications for the first 15 minutes.
Then everything comes piling in.
Same if I'm in a meeting and put flight mode.
Anyone else have this? Potential fix?
For the sake of it I bought a week of IVPN, which I had used before trying Mullvad to double check.
Same scenarios, but notifications come in right away after leaving flight mode.
I have already set battery usage unrestricted, as per Mullvad support suggestion 🤔
