I’m a privacy noob but I want to de-google myself as much as possible. I’ve decided on Graphene. My current S10+ is falling physically falling apart, literally. I need a new phone ASAP before I lose any data. I know nothing about phone hardware and software (like APKs, etc.). I’m not rich enough to go through phones that I screw up.

I have been researching this but maybe I’m too dumb to do it right so please indulge me with some questions:

• That said, how easy is it to screw up a phone when installing an OS?
• Does ROM=Phone OS?
• Can I order a phone per-configured with GOS from a trustworthy source?
• For authentication apps like Authy, is it simple reinstall process to the new phone?
  -Is there an app similar to google keep notes for GOS?
