In Vanadium, under Settings >> Site Settings, there is something called "Protected content", and within that there are three options:
Allowed
Ask first
Blocked
Then, there is a hyperlink titled, "Learn more".
I don't know what this "Protected content" is referring to, so I tapped on the "Learn more" hyperlink, but what it led me to seems not to discuss anything relating to "Protected content". So I'm left ignorant of what this setting is all about, leaving me with these questions:
1) What is the concept attempting to be conveyed by the term, "Protected content"?
2) While I don't know much about Widevine, am I correct in assuming that this "Protected content" refers to or includes allowing or not allowing the browser to enable Widevine and similar?
3) Let's say I select the "Allowed" setting. What are the privacy and security implications of that, versus the "Blocked" setting?
4) I do not have any Google services installed on my GOS device. If I choose the "Allowed" setting, will sites that rely on something like Widevine still fail to work?
5) Am I able to have two profiles in GOS, each has Vanadium, but the Vanadium settings - like this one I'm asking about - are different in each profile?
