After installing Aurora Store on my device, I get popups whenever Google publishes updates to Play Services. I noticed that the version being offered through the built-in updater trails behind quite significantly and that made me think as to what the reasons for this could be.
My perception is that it's a resource issue, that the GOS team simply doesn't have the resources to keep up here and review the code at the same pace as Google publishes it for everything. So something has to give. But my gut also tells me to stay at the version offered by the GOS team, but that's where I might be mistaken. Is there a reason to do this (meaning stay on the GOS version) or should I just let Aurora update whenever Google publish a new version?
