i unlocked the device but in the fastboot menu it still shows locked

Hi all,
i factory resetted the phone, then i wanted to load install GrapheneOS freshly.
after activating the developer options and unlocked the phone - but it is still locked so i can't clean install.

In the fast Boot menu it shows:
Product revision: bluejay MP1.0 B1
Bootloader version: bluejay-1.3-10825045
...
Secure Boot: PRODUCTION
Nos production: yes
...
Device state: locked

What can i do?

what you did is OEM unlocking. You can unlock bootloader in the web based installer interface or using fastboot command.

Just load the web based installer and follow the instructions religiously.

Thank you, indeed it worked all fine... Only thing that i found odd that after you flash the image, lock it again and boot it the developer options are turned off, but when you turn them on you see that OEM unlocking was still turned on?

SpeakYourMind the toggle in Developer Settings allows OEM unlocking.

You can see it even says to disable it again in the instructions: https://grapheneos.org/install/web#disabling-oem-unlocking

Just a guess: unlocking is still enabled in case there are any issues with flashing and the phone needs to be flashed again. Or for development reasons.
