Hi all,

So I realized GrapheneOS is not for me and trying to flash an original image for now via flash.android.com.

I am trying to connect to it in fastboot (android-tools-adb and android-tools-fastboot are installed). Adb works, it lists device, it can reboot into fastbooot. Unfortunately, fastboot does not list my device in fastboot mode. I cannot reselect the device either in flash.android.com when it is rebooted into fastboot.

My question is, how should I troubleshoot this issue? I've checked a couple fastboot topics but I did not find any that is applicable.

Suggestions: Is OEM Unlock enabled? Try a different cable? Factory reset the device?

OP, if you are on linux could you enter into fastboot, plug in your device, and show the output of lsusb?

If you are on windows, have you downloaded the drivers from windows updates?

Yes and yes. Will reset it now, but have no hopes for this one. I will update if it helps.

Strangely, connecting it to another android and using bugjaeger's mobile ADB does not list the device either. Windows did not recognize the phone as android device after briefly working with it (with the drivers installed, of course), but windows is a hot garbage anyway.

I tried flashing grapheneOS again (with success), but the same symptoms hold.

itarill Interesting, and when you run 'fastboot devices' in fastboot mode in Linux, is the device recognized? If so, you can flash using that

Having a factory reset lead to the device being recognized via
fastboot devices

Now, however, I'm stuck here.

Just out of curiosity, have you done this step at all?

Yes. It worked perfectly when I did NOT have the device available in fastboot. Now, the browser version did not work and therefore I went for CLI fastboot commands.
