Where are backups stored?

Through some good luck recently, I was able to get a Pixel 8 at an absolute steal and will be moving from the Pixel 7 once it arrives. Setup of Graphene was quite straightforward but obviously the faster I can get set up with a new phone the easier it will be, so I did a backup and stored it to internal storage, thinking I could pull it onto my computer when the new phone arrives and then use it to restore most of my phone.
I feel like an idiot to admit this but I can't find WHERE on my internal storage the backup lives.
Can anyone help me out?

You'll need to show hidden files in the Files app; you'll find the option in the 3 dots menu in the top right of the app.

Then open the main menu by pressing the 3 lines, and tapping Pixel 7 (your device model). You'll find the Seedvault backup there in the home directory. It will be named as ".SeedvaultAndroidBackup" or something similar.

Note that Seedvault is unreliable as a backup solution, so you may have to transfer some things over manually.

No worries on if I have to do things the old fashioned way, just trying to simplify as much as possible.
